Things to do when bored

Hey, y'all!

Are you done finishing your tasks, done with your chores, and have tried every 5-minute crafts hack to waste your time hoping it passes by soon?

Do you get bored easily? We gotcha!

Getting bored is something that everyone feels. And sometimes it is good to be bored. Sounds strange? Well, it’s because when we get bored, we do not have anything to do and then when we have an idea, we’re all ready to work towards it! Boredom is marked by an empty feeling, as well as a sense of frustration with that emptiness. When you're bored, you may have a limited attention span and lack interest in what's happening around you. You may feel apathetic, fatigued, nervous, or jittery. But here we bring out awesome ideas to do when feeling bored.

  • Make a bucket list

Making bucket lists helps you to identify your aim for the future, remember your goals, get creative, enjoy life, and keep track of events. When you make a list of all the things you'd like to do, you have a feeling of being more aware of what's important to you. It’s fun! Try it once and do let us know how you’ve used your time.

  • Try playing games

Playing games alone or even with your families will help you spend most of your time and make you feel better and relaxed as you feel you are in your happy zone. These games not only entertain us but also make us mentally strong. People of all ages enjoy playing them because of the comfort of playing them from their homes.

  • Read books

Reading books helps us build our knowledge, our vocabulary and, obviously, our speaking. Reading is important and mostly recommended by our teachers. Reading books also helps us reduce stress and make us feel relaxed. The enrichment from books will enhance your skills to a level where you will be able to write a summary in the snap of two fingers.

  • Watch movies

This is a Sunday thing in our houses. Science has proved to us that watching comedy movies helps recover our stress and makes our mood much much better. Watching English movies improves speaking skills too!

  • Make a bored jar

That is what people might not know but that is what we regularly do! “The bored jar” is a jar in which we put small chits writing what we can do when bored. Every time we feel yelling “I’m boreddddddddd -_-”, always remember about this small, little, beautiful jar. You can decorate your jar in your sweet little way to make it look nice and somewhere you can look for something in it.

  • Go out for a walk

Walking in nature gives you positive feelings and removes boredom as easily as possible! The green color is associated with positive vibes. Nature also reduces the risk of health diseases.

We hope that you might try these few tips and remember to tell us if this reduced your boredom. And if you don’t enjoy these types of blogs, do let us know some topics you would like us to write about!

As a habit, we’ll end this blog with a poem. It’s named “Happy”

When you stay happy,

You forget about all the bad things

You are between the positive rings

Happy hugs, Negative stings

Hope you enjoyed it! We’ll catch you in the next one ;)

Thanks and Regards,
